As Cast

As Cast steel is a ferrous alloy with a maximum carbon content of approximately 1.20%. (Used for Automotive & Non-Automotive Application). Steel castings are solid metal objects produced by filling the void within a mould with liquid steel. There are two processes of Steel Casting :
    a. Continuous casting for making Slabs, Billets & Blooms
    b. Ingot Casting

Ingots

Ingots are casted steel generally made by bottom pouring on mobile or fixed plates to produce round, square, rectangular or polygonal sections. Today, some of the best steel plants can make up to 100 MT of single Ingots and BOS is associated with them.
BOS Offering
BOS can procure and manage the supply chain of these Ingots in any grade or size from steel mills within India and across world. We are supplying requested quantities to our customer's demands today.

Slabs

Steel slabs are generally strand cast and sometimes even rolled from Ingots. They are wide and rectangular in shape. They are used for the manufacture of all 'flat' steel products such as coils, sheets, strip, plates and other flat-rolled steel products.
BOS Offering
BOS can procure and manage the supply chain of these Slabs in any grade or size from steel mills within India and across world. We are supplying requested quantities to our customer's demands today.

Bloom & Billets

Continuous casting of steel is now the method of choice by all steel producers replacing the old method of ingot casting. Some of the top special steel plants in the world can cast up to 1000 mm of Round/Rectangular Billets.
BOS Offering
BOS can procure and manage the supply chain of these Cast Billets in any grade or size from steel mills within India and across world. We are supplying requested quantities to our customer's demands today.

As Rolled

In metal working, rolling is a metal forming process in which metal stock is passed through one or more pairs of rolls to reduce the thickness, to make the thickness uniform and/or to impart a desired mechanical property.

Round / RCS Bars

Hot Rolled Bars generally come in shapes of Rounds, Round Cornered Squares (RCS), Flats and Hexagons. Majorly used in hot die pressing and forging. They also undergo cold forging.
Cold Drawn Peeled Heat Treated Machined as per drawing
Carbon Steel
Medium & High Alloy Steel
Tools & Die Steel
Stainless Steel
BOS Offering
BOS procures and manage the supply chain of these Rolled Bars in almost all grades from steel mills within India and across world. Generally BOS maintains ground stocks of such bars to serve the Just in Time requirements of customers located across India through its service locations (warehouses). We also undertake requirements of Bright/Heat Treated Bars.

Hexagonal Bars

Steel Hexagons are long steel bars having 6 sides.
BOS Offering
BOS can procure and manage the supply chain of these Hexagonal Bars in any grade or size from steel mills within India and across world. We are supplying requested quantities to our customer's demands today. We have a wide ranges of sizes, grades and stock both Metric, Imperial sizes in Steel Hexagons to suit your needs.

Bright Bars

Bright bars are raw materials that are created from steel alloys and stainless steel. They have a geometrically precise molecular structure with an extremely smooth surface finish which always appears bright.
BOS Offering
BOS can procure and manage the supply chain of these Bright bar in any grade or size from steel mills within India and across world.

Hot Rolled
Steel is derived when steel is roll-pressed at very high temperatures - over 1,700°F - which is above the re-crystallization temperature for most steels.
Cold Rolled
Steel is essentially hot rolled steel that has been further rolled in Cold rolling Mill and allowed to cool at room temperature and annealed or temper rolled.
Galvanizing
Galvanizing is the process of applying a protective zinc coating to steel.
Hot Rolled/HRPO Coil & Sheet
Hot rolled Steel is derived when steel is roll-pressed at very high temperatures - over 1,700°F - which is above the re-crystallization temperature for most steels. This process makes the steel easier to form, resulting in products that are easier to work with.
Advantages:
  • Availability in wide range of grades for a host of applications
  • Steady availability in various thickness & width combinations
  • High strength enables it to be used in different applications
Cold Rolled Coil & Sheets
Cold rolled steel is essentially hot rolled steel that has been further rolled in Cold rolling Mill and allowed to cool at room temperature and annealed or temper rolled.
  • Superior Surface Finish
  • Uniform Mechanical Properties
  • Enhanced Flatness
  • Higher Dimensional Tolerances
  • Better Weldability
Galvanised Coil & Sheets
Galvanizing is the process of applying a protective zinc coating to steel.
  • Corrosion Resistance
  • Absolute Flatness
  • Optimum Malleability & Ductility
  • Superior Paint Adhesion
