BOS is a young company, born on December 2018. Having a growing and highly charged team of professionals who collectively bring in hundreds of year of Industry experience BOS work’s towards a common dream of unblocking the unintended constraints between the Steel mills and the Component manufacturing buyer community.
BOS is of the strong opinion that the services provided will drive success both for Steel mills and Buyer community.
Steel Mills aspire for Minimum Order Quantity of Heat Loads and Sequence casting; where as Component Manufacturing buyers community aspire for relatively smaller or near exact quantities to be delivered Just in Time at the Right Price in a dynamic market situation where schedules keep changing. With our extensive experience, BOS team understand the gaps and challenges between the aspirations and requirements of “Steel mills” and the “Component manufacturing buyer community”. BOS value driven solution and services addresses the challenges of both.

One of India’s most respected metallurgists with 4 decades of rich experience in special steel manufacturing and forging industries. He is the go-to man for process control, quality control, product development, spec optimization, testing standards, certifications and various training & skill development needs around the globe.
Our Team
Arvind Sangamnerkar is currently the Head of Marketing at Blue Ocean Steels, with over 5 years of experience in this role. He has a robust career spanning over 30 years in steel marketing, having worked at companies like Sunflag, MUSCO, Welspun, and Kalyani Steels.
At BOS, he is focused on marketing, supply chain management, ERP systems, and logistics. His efforts have helped streamline operations and enhance the company’s reputation in the steel sector. His leadership in the marketing department has been instrumental in developing the company’s strategic direction, ensuring it continues to meet the evolving demands of the steel industry.
Vilas Patil
Head- International Business & Institutional Sales
Vilas Patil is the Head of International Business & Corporate Accounts at Blue Ocean Steels, where he has been leading efforts to expand global markets for specialty carbon and alloy steel long products for over 3 years. Prior to this, he was a Team Leader at companies like Ispat profile and Kalyani steels overseeing the supply of materials to Aluminum smelting industries, forging and seamless tube manufacturing.
Vilas gained significant experience of 30 + years in Domestic and international marketing. With his expertise in business strategy, negotiation, and collaboration, Vilas has contributed to Blue Ocean Steels’ growth in both domestic and international market segments.

CSR Activities
Management & Team of Blue Oceans Steel believes that organization growth is meaningful only when they support society. From the inception, BOS team have been investing their time and resources towards upliftment of socially and economically backward in society.
During Covid pandemic there were many economically challenged children who needed support with electronic devices that can help to continue their education virtually.
BOS team worked with NGO “Shiksha Prayas” to provide these devices to children.
